Meet Lucy Fritzinger— HAND DRAWN BRAND DESIGNER AND FINE ARTIST
I’m the owner, designer, and artist at River Roots Studio. With a background in fine art and a degree in graphic design, I have a real passion for using my artistic abilities to create for people and with people.
From a young age my artistic abilities emerged through painting, drawing, pottery and music, and were fostered well by supportive parents and creative surroundings in the heart of the Bluegrass state, Kentucky. By deciding to pursue a degree in graphic design, I fell in love with a whole new medium of brand design.
Today, I run River Roots Studio from Lake Tahoe, California by working with other small businesses to collaboratively design authentic brands and selling original artwork of my own to fund mission work in Honduras. I cherish being able to utilize both my passion for brand design and fine art in my career.
Aside from design and art, you can find me hiking local peaks with my husband and dog, snowboarding in the backcountry with good friends, serving in my church down the street, or traveling to Central America with my mom to teach art and share the love of Christ!
I can’t’ wait to get to know about you!
More about the Studio
MY GOAL: listen well to design well with your business mission and message in mind as I create. My design motto is listen, think, design, deliver. With these steps in mind, I am able to design meaningfully.
WHY I DESIGN: To connect on a personal level with other small businesses in ways that large design studios can’t. I’m passionate about getting to know your business and target audience in order to design your authentic brand.
WHY I PAINT: To utilize my fine art for something bigger than myself. 100% of proceeds from The Studio Shop fund mission work in Olancho, Honduras where my mom and I teach art to students in HOI’s Hope middle school and work on large scale mural projects.
